Advocate Aurora Health recently announced they they have begun sending out notice of a data breach that impacted upwards of 3,000,000 individuals.
Advocate Aurora, out of Wisconsin and Illinois, operates 26 hospitals with 75,000 employees. Advocate Aurora Health said it installed “pixels” on its website, using Internet tracking technologies, such as Google and Meta (Facebook). Advocate Aurora Health reported the data breach to the authorities and the affected parties on October 14, 2022.
