BJC HealthCare, a Missouri non-profit healthcare organization, has begun notifying patients that some of their protected health information may have been leaked.

On March 29, 2022, BJC learned that email accounts belonging to physicians and resident physicians were subject to unauthorized access in a data theft incident. An investigation confirmed the unauthorized access occurred between March 4, 2022, and March 28, 2022, but the full scope of the incident is still under investigation.
