A cyberattack on the New Tork law firm, Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft, has allegedly put the personal information of over 90,000 clients at risk.

On the data breach notice dated March 30, 2023, the law firm noted that an unauthorized third party gained access to the company’s systems on November 15, 2022 and may have been able to acquire sensitive information, which included personal information belonging to the company’s customers, including Social Security numbers.

The Office of the Maine Attorney General said that the breach was discovered on November 16, 2022, and that 93,211 people were impacted.
