On November 7, 2022, Camping World and Good Sam (CWGS) started notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted in an alleged data security incident.

On February 9, Camping World and Good Sam discovered a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in their systems may have been accessed and acquired.

CWGS Group is a recreational vehicle (RV) and outdoor retailer that offers recreational vehicle products and services to consumers through its website and over 185 Camping World SuperCenters. With over 1.8 million members, Good Sam is the world’s largest RV organization.

The type of information exposed may include the following:

  • Names
  • Social Security Numbers
  • Date of birth
  • Driver’s license number
  • State, federal, or foreign ID number
  • Tax ID number
  • Financial account number
  • Debit or credit card number information
  • Digital/electronic signature
