In April 2023, Charter Foods began sending out data breach notices following a “criminal cyberattack.” The security incident allegedly compromised sensitive consumer information which may include names, addresses, dates of birth, and Social Security numbers.
After confirming the personal data theft, Charter Foods started delivering data breach notification letters to over 109,000 individuals.
