Dynamic Health Care patients and staff at several nursing and rehabilitation facilities have been notified that some of their protected health information has potentially been compromised following a cyberattack on the company’s network.

Dynamic Health Care provides consulting, administrative, and other services to nursing and rehabilitation facilities that require access to certain staff and patient data. This is normal, and companies agree to protect such sensitive data. But in November 2020, Dynamic Health Care discovered that malware had been installed on a number of computers in its network.

The Lyon Firm is currently involved in several high-profile data breach cases, and takes pride in protecting the privacy rights of consumers and employees nationwide.

Reviewing Dynamic Health Care Data Breach Claims

An investigation confirmed that an unauthorized individual accessed the Dynamic Health network around November 8, 2020 and on January 7, 2021. Data was potentially collected from staff and nursing home patients at the following facilities:

  • Woodbridge Nursing Pavilion
  • Waterfront Terrace
  • Bridgeview Health Care Center
  • Willow Crest Nursing Pavilion
  • Ottawa Pavilion
  • River North of Bradley Health & Rehabilitation Center

Dynamic Health Care has mailed data breach notification letters to individuals affected by the incident and Dynamic Health has said new security measures had been implemented to protect all health information now in its possession.
