Steel River Systems, out of Rock Falls, Illinois, is a debt collection company whose clients are other private collection agencies that have contracts with the U.S Department of Education. The compromised information may include the following:
- Name
- Social Security number
- Financial information (bank account number or credit/debit card numbers)
- Driver’s license number
