The Lyon Firm has filed a class action complaint after the recent St. Joseph’s/Candler Health System cyberattack and data breach resulted in unauthorized access to customer data. The complaint notes that around 1.4 million class members suffered tangible losses and emotional distress after their data was compromised.
Victims of the data breach are now at risk because of St. Joseph’s/Candler Health System alleged negligent online security which allowed for the cyberattack and the leak of sensitive personal data.
