The Lyon Firm is investigating Electromed data breach claims after the medical device company announced it suffered a security breach in June 2021. Electromed has stated that unauthorized activity was detected on its IT network on June 16, 2021 and third-party cyberattack experts were hired to assist in the investigation.

Electromed concluded that the hacker accessed certain data that contained the personal health information of customers, as well as information of its employees and contractors. While no evidence has yet been found to indicate data misuse, data misuse and fraud are a reasonable concern for all of those individuals impacted.
