Luminis Health, the owners of Anne Arundel Medical Center in Maryland, announced that its email system was accessed by an unauthorized individual, and some patient information may have been exposed during the recent data breach.
Luminis Health said it discovered the data breach within its employee email system in September 2021, and may have leaked patient records that included the following:
- Names
- Date of birth
- Medical record numbers
- Social Security number
