Pulse TV has begin notifying thousands of customers about a recent data security incident that involved personal data and sensitive financial information. Pulse TV says the notice is a precautionary measure, though when data is leaked, the risk of identity theft and fraud rises dramatically.

In March 2021, VISA informed Pulse TV that some unauthorized credit card transactions were made on the website, potentially compromising a wealth of customer data. Law enforcement contacted Pulse TV regarding additional payment card compromises originating on the Pulse TV website.

Customers who purchased products on the PulseTV website with a credit card between November 1, 2019 and August 31, 2021 may have been impacted. Stolen information may have included the following:

  • Name
  • Address
  • Email address
  • Payment card number
  • Expiration date
  • Card security code (CVV)
