Four affiliated online sports gear websites, including Running Warehouse, Tennis Warehouse, Tackle Warehouse and Skate Warehouse, have begun sending out data breach notification letters following a security breach that may have impacted over 1.8 million customers.
Reports of stolen credit card information have surfaced, and victims may have had other personal data compromised in the attack. The company has stated that personal information and credit card information, including CV numbers, were stolen in October 2021.
The hacked websites include the following:
- Tackle Warehouse LLC (tacklewarehouse.com) – Fishing gear
- Running Warehouse LLC (runningwarehouse.com) – Running apparel
- Tennis Warehouse LCC (tennis-warehouse.com) – Tennis apparel
- Skate Warehouse LLC (skatewarehouse.com) – Skateboards and skating apparel
The websites first learned of the breach in mid-October, and confirmed on November 29th the individual customers that had their payment information leaked. Personal data potentially compromised includes:
- Name
- Financial account number
- Credit card number (with CVV)
- Debit card number (with CVV)
- Website account password
