Central Florida Inpatient Medicine (CFIM) discovered on May 5, 2022 that a company email account was accessed between August 21 and September 17, 2021. The hacked email may have contained identifiable personal and/or protected health information of former and current CFIM patients.
The CFIM health system provides acute care, post-acute care, podiatry, psychiatry, and wound care. Central Florida Inpatient Notification letters are being sent out to affected individuals.
