According to reports, Metropolitan Area EMS Authority (MedStar Mobile Healthcare) has allegedly suffered a hacking incident that may have leaked the sensitive health data of thousands of former patients.
The Department of Health’s Health and Human Services (HHS) reporting website notes that as many as 612,000 individuals may have had their personal information compromised.
