Temple University Health System Data Breach Investigation
Temple University Health System (also known as Temple Health) has reported a “hacking\IT incident” to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights (HHS)dated September 15, 2023. The data breach incident has allegedly impacted 430,381 individuals linked to the health system.
An investigation is underway and data breach notification letters should already be on the way to those affected. The notices should detail what happened and which specific personal data may be compromised.
