What Happened at Visionary Integration Professionals?

Over six months ago, VIP discovered that it had been targeted in a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information (PII) on its systems may have been accessed. On September 21, 2023, Visionary Integration Professionals received a notification regarding access to company servers by an unauthorized third party.

After an investigation, VIP has concluded that the purpose of the unauthorized access by hackers was to obtain a ransomware payment for potentially copying or stealing company data.

There is no evidence yet of data misuse, however, on April 15, 2024, VIP began notifying individuals and state authorities whose information may have been impacted. The type of information potentially exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
