The Lyon Firm is investigating class action data privacy cases, including the Ravkoo data breach, which allegedly impacted over 105,000 individuals in Florida and nationwide.

Ravkoo uses cloud services for online hosting of its prescription portal, and in September 2021, Ravkoo detected unusual activity. The company discovered and confirmed in October that they had been the target in a cyberattack after a third party attempted to infiltrate the portal.

Ravkoo has begun sending out data breach notification letters, noting that the following personal data may have been compromised:

  • Prescription and health information
  • Full name
  • Mailingaddress
  • Phone number

Ravkoo is a digital pharmacy platform in which they provide prescription delivery to patients’ doorsteps. Ravkoo says there is not yet evidence of data being sold on the dark web, however, that is a possibility. Ravkoo is offering victims complementary, online identity monitoring service for one year, though data breach attorneys say that is not nearly enough compensation for the potential fraud and identity theft fallout of their negligent security.
