The Money Message ransomware group recently listed the Kentucky-based PharMerica and its parent company, BrightSpring Health Services, on its data leak site. The hackers claim to have stolen more than 5 million records in an attack in March 2023. The stolen data allegedly includes patient names, birth dates, and Social Security numbers.

BrightSpring Health Services has confirmed that it is investigating a cybersecurity incident but has not been determined how many individuals have been impacted. A subsidiary of Pharmerica, Amerita, has also announced that it was impacted by this security incident.
