What Happened at Prestige Care?

On September 7, 2023, Prestige Care learned that an unauthorized party was able to access files containing confidential resident information. Over the next few months they reviewed the compromised files, which could contain names and Social Security numbers.

On January 31, 2024, Prestige Care started sending out data breach letters to those affected by the data security incident. These letters should provide victims with more details on what happened and what information may be at risk. It is important to take certain measures to protect yourself following any breach that leaked your SSN, as that can easily be used by cybercriminals in fraud and identity theft schemes.

Operating out of Vancouver, Washington, Prestige Care, is a senior care organization with around 80 senior care facilities in the United States. The company offers independent living, assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing services.
