Simon Eye Management, a Delaware healthcare provider, has begun notifying over 144,000 patients about a data breach that may have compromised sensitive personal protected health information.

Simon Eye identified unusual activity on their employee email server in June 2021. An investigation was launched with security experts, and Simon Eye concluded unauthorized individuals gained access to employee email accounts in May 2021, potentially exposing the following types of information:
