Transform SR Holding Management LLC, a subsidiary of Transform Holdco LLC (otherwise known as Transformco) announced that current and former employees may be impacted by a data security incident in which an unauthorized party accessed its computer network. After an investigation, Transformco determined that the data breach occurred between June 3 and June 15, 2021.

Transformco is a privately held company with several businesses, including Transform Brands, Sears and Kmart. Transformco said in a statement that the company is implementing additional security to bolster its IT network and educating its employees about hacking and other phishing threats. Attorneys say the measures may be a bit too late, and that the following personal information of current and former Transformco (Sears and Kmart) employees may have been compromised:

  • Social Security numbers
  • Financial account numbers
  • Healthcare insurance information
