Creative Services, which conducts background checks for employment and licensing purposes, may have been hacked and leaked personal information related to current and former employees, as well as various employment candidates. Over 164,000 individuals may have been impacted by the data breach incident.

In November 2021, Creative Services became aware of unusual network activity and third-party computer forensic specialists determined that certain files may have been copied and stolen from the Creative Services systems as part of the cyber-attack. Based on the investigation into the data breach incident, it was determined that the following information may have been stolen:

  • Name
  • Date of birth
  • Social Security number
  • Driver’s license number
