Cincinnati Recall and Ohio Product Liability Lawyer Investigating Claims of each Ford Focus Defect

The Safety Institute has recently announced that they are keeping its eye on 2012 Ford Focuses. According to recent studies, drivers, of this type of vehicle suffered more injuries this past year than drivers of any other vehicle in the United States.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration received complaints that the 2012 Ford Focus defect included "electric power steering [that] shuts down randomly and intermittently" and steering wheels that tore apart, cutting drivers' hands.

The purpose of The Safety Institute and its Watch Lists is to provide an opportunity to regulators and manufacturers to investigate claims and attempt to correct for them before they become major issues. The Watch Lists come out every three months. Other problems at the top of the Watch List are for the 2011 and 2012 Chevy Cruze service brakes. Read more at: NBC News and ABC News.

Other common defects in the auto industry include Seat Belt Malfunction, tire failure, defective brakes, faulty suspension, and rollover crush defects. Any defect can lead to serious injury and death of motorists on America's roadways.
